Hi I’m Debbie! I’m a chef, and the founder of Katie Lou Bakes.

I’ve been making and decorating cakes for more than twenty years. I started baking bespoke treats for friends and family after the other mums tasted my cakes at birthday parties I threw for my kids. They agreed that shop-bought cakes just aren’t the same – a beautiful design doesn’t always guarantee a gorgeous texture and flavour.

Since it’s what’s inside that counts, I believe in combining vibrant designs with the most exciting flavours, to create delicious home-baked creations that you won’t find anywhere else. Whether you’re hunting for a fig and whiskey brownie for Dad’s birthday, or an indulgent chocolate overload cake to make your anniversary truly special, we’ll get you in the mood to celebrate with our unique, delicious and creative confections.
